 ASSEE COUNTY, Mich. (WJRT) - More than 1,300 Consumers Energy customers wil
 l have their power temporarily shut off next Thursday night.</p><p>The plan
 ned outage is scheduled for parts of Lennon City and Venice Township beginn
 ing at 11 p.m. Aug. 27 until about 7 a.m.</p><p>The work will impact Consum
 ers Energy residents and businesses in the following general areas;</p><ul>
 <li>From Lennon, east along Lennon Road to Nichols Road and south and east 
 along McEnrue Road to I-69, and west to County Line Road.</li><li>From Lenn
 on, west along Lennon Road to just east of S. Reed Road south and east to I
 -69 and north and east along County Line Road back to Lennon.</li></ul><div

 div><p>The work is scheduled to allow Consumers Energy to perform overnight
  substation work to improve electric service. The work is scheduled overnig
